Luzern needs a modern and sustainable mobility concept. Increasing traffic, limited space and climate goals make a rethink necessary.
In this participation process, we develop solutions together for:
less car traffic
efficient public transport (ÖV)
safe and continuous cycle paths
liveable and traffic-calmed neighborhoods

March - April 2026
We analyze the current traffic situation:
What is working well?
Where are there problems or bottlenecks?
Online survey about your daily routes
Workshops in all Neighborhoods
Aim: A realistic picture of today's mobility in Lucerne.
Phase 2: Collection of ideas
May - June 2026
Together we develop concrete solutions:
Proposals for new cycle paths
Concepts for the expansion of the Public transport
Parking space management
Pedestrian zones and traffic calming
All residents can submit and further develop suggestions.
Phase 3: Assessment & prioritization
July 2026
The ideas collected will be examined and weighted:

August 2026
Finally, a concrete action plan is drawn up:
