This example process shows how the local energy and heat supply in Merching could be further developed together with the residents. On a map, residents show what is working well, where there is a need for action and what ideas they have. The information is collected, organized by topic and summarized publicly before the municipality decides what will be pursued further.

Starting point: SolarTreffs of the district (Source: official website, November 3rd, 2026).

You can take part via the map survey, with your own suggestions, at an information evening, a workshop and a Online consultation. This is an example process from Meyssens. All contents are illustrative examples, they do not come from the municipality of Merching and do not reflect the planning status.
