This example process shows how climate protection on the doorstep in Lichtenfels could be further developed together with the residents. On a map, residents show what is working well, where there is a need for action and what ideas they have. The information is collected, sorted by topic and summarized publicly before the city decides what will be pursued further.

Starting point: New drinking water fountains in the city center (Source: official website, May 26, 2026).

You can take part using the map survey, with your own Suggestions, at an information evening, a workshop and an online consultation. This is an example process from Meyssens. All contents are illustrative examples, they do not come from the city of Lichtenfels and do not reflect the planning status.
