This example process shows how the new development area and its surroundings in Kemnath could be further developed together with the residents. On a map, residents show what is working well, where there is a need for action and what ideas they have. The clues are collected, sorted by topic and summarized publicly before the city decides what to pursue further.

Starting point: groundbreaking ceremony on the lake promenade (Source: official website, November 2nd, 2026).

You can take part in the card survey, with your own suggestions, at an information evening, a workshop and an online consultation. This is an example process from Meyssens. All contents are illustrative examples, they do not come from the city of Kemnath and do not reflect the planning status.
