This example process shows how the use of a citizen budget for local projects in Furth im Wald could be further developed together with the residents. On a map, residents show what is working well, where there is a need for action and what ideas they have. The information is collected, sorted by topic and summarized publicly before the city decides what will be pursued further.

Starting point: Project call for regional budget 2027 (Source: official website, October 14, 2026).

You can take part via the map survey, with your own suggestions, at an information evening, a workshop and an online consultation. This is an example process from Meyssens. All contents are illustrative examples, they do not come from the city of Furth im Wald and do not reflect the planning status.
