This example process shows how the city center in Freilassing could be further developed together with the residents. On a map, residents show what is working well, where there is a need for action and what ideas they have. The information is collected, sorted by topic and summarized publicly before the city decides what will be pursued further.

Starting point: “Breaking up the city center”, main street and pedestrian zone (Source: official website, September 29th, 2026).

You can take part in a map survey with your own suggestions Information evening, a workshop and an online consultation hour. This is an example process from Meyssens. All contents are illustrative examples, they do not come from the city of Freilassing and do not reflect the planning status.
